I survived Fanexpo, but I'm still recovering and catching up from the absolute nonstop crush of people. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see me, bought stuff, and to table neighbors Caanan and Emily Ragozzino for being awesome!

A preview panel from Colt: Old Soliders, one of the projects I've been working on for GravityShift redesign. Inked with sharpies and ballpoint pen.
I'll be at Fanexpo later this week, at table A175. Feel free to stop by and see some of the new convention art!

I've been drawing lots but neglecting to format picture to upload here (sorry!). Recent stuff I've worked on includes 56 cards for Archie/March of Dimes sketchcard set which landed on June 15th (sold out from 5finity), and 18 pack inserted sketchcards for Sad Littles "Legends & Lore", which goes on sale August 1st, and limited to 1000 sets.
Soon I'll be working on new convention stock and ebay auctions (including a couple of Legends & Lore returns).

Three multi-card commissions from the popular series Supernatural. I can't really claim to be a fan myself, but I admit they have fantastic taste in their soundtrack.
Ink, prismacolor marker and various things for effects on 2.5x3.5" cards.
The first round of cards for Steve's March of Dimes fundraiser have been put up on ebay, including Jacob Black by yours truly. The matching Alice Cullen and a Shadowcat will be following in the near future, as more cards are listed.
Also check out the Archie official sketch card set, with proceeds going to March of Dimes.
If you're Canadian and like the idea but not into donating to American based charities, please consider tossing a donation towards the IWK Health Centre, another establishment quite near and dear to my heart.

And sometimes I draw for gits and shiggles. I got on a DC kick, I expect the next time I'll swing back to Marvel's merry band of mutants, those seem to be my two extremes.

This is Maia Roh (left) and Queen Anthai (right) of 7Stars. Ink, prismacolor marker, white deleter ink and some white sketch pencil on 2.5 x 3.5 inch cards.

I kinda prefer Rina Logan as the "daughter of Wolverine", but dang is Laura an interesting girl all on her own. Wish I'd found the opportunity to draw her sooner.
Ink, Prismacolor and deleter white on 2.5x3.5 inch cards.

I was asked for a card of Dexter, and ended up doing two. This is my favorite of the pair... no doubt influenced by my fetish for things with wings. >.>

I killed the second scanner within 4 months, and broke down and bought a new one. I hate calibrating scanners with a passion, and software that thinks it's smarter than me. Hopefully this looks close to okay.
Liz, Greta and Dot Knight are sort of the reverse-Bailey of the Colt-verse, three bounty hunting sisters instead of two bounty hunting brothers and a third in training. Sometimes I pretend they'll have their own spinoff, till then they're lucky they got art at all.

From CK's Sketchbook #4 (forthcoming... sometime... hopefully soon). Bounty Hunter John Halstead with his charmingly violent daughter Julia, with text from "God's Gonna Cut You Down", Johnny Cash version. Ballpoint pen in sketchbook.

In the continuing attempt to update with something every other day:

From the recent Twilight movie, Alice Cullen and Jacob Black. My favorite parts short of vampire baseball (!!!).

A little bit older... a pair of commissions for a Johnny Depp fan of (Captain!!) Jack Sparrow and Sweeney Todd. I hope to make more of a series of this in the future, up to and including 21 Jumpstreet.
